Trikonasana / Triangle Pose

Benefits:

  • Improves strength, stability and sideways flexibility.
  • Affects muscles on the sides of the trunk, the waist and the backs of the legs.
  • Improves digestion
  • Strengthens the pelvic area and tones the reproductive organs
  • Regular practise will help reduce waistline fat – but only as part of that calorie-controlled diet!!

Contraindications:

  • Should not be performed by those suffering from back conditions
