We do not have a yoga centre, but Yoga classes are run in most
towns in Northern Ireland by teachers trained by the Fellowship.
These classes will help you achieve suppleness by improving
the way the muscles and joints work, and help increase strength,
stamina and concentration with daily practice. You will also
be shown yogic breathing techniques which will increase your
vitality. You may also have some fun!
You will need a Yoga mat, blanket or sleeping bag depending
on the venue, and a small pillow is a good help. Also, please
wear loose clothing.
Information about a class in your area can be obtained from
our –
telephone answering service, which at present
is 028 91 889219 or
Area Representatives or
from your Local Education and Library Board.
In addition to regular classes some of our teachers
are available for one-off events, including businesses,
women’s groups and retirement clubs. Some of our teachers
are involved with Heart, Chest, Stroke, Parkinson’s,
Mental Health, schools and other organisations, and run pregnancy
and back problem classes.
